Pancake Breakfast To Help Kingswood’s Children’s Home

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY)— The Beckley Pancake Breakfast took place this morning at Taco Bell on Eisenhower Drive.

Bake sale, slime for kids and fire trucks were set up for kids to enjoy. Two firefighters from every department in the Raleigh County were there to show off their fire trucks and talk about safety.

All of the proceeds raised will benefit the Kingswood Children’s Home for Christmas.

“Last year we managed to buy some new vans for their Children’s Home to take them back and forth to the movies, and so it really makes an impact what we are doing. We’re having a pancake breakfast today. We’re gonna be doing another breakfast with Santa later in December and whatever we raise, we’re putting towards the home,” said Brian Sizemore, Taco Bell Store Manager.

If you were unable to make today’s event, there will be more opportunities later this month or you can stop by the Eisenhower location and donate to the cause.
