Greenbrier County, WV (WOAY) – The Mayor of White Sulphur Springs says crews are working to clean up a paint spill into Dry Creek and Howard’s Creek.
Mayor Thomas Taylor says water-soluble paint spilled in the area behind Ace Hardware.
There is no risk to public safety, but there are concerns about aquatic life.
The Environmental Protection Agency has been notified, and crews from the White Sulphur Springs Police Department. The White Sulphur Springs Volunteer Fire Department and the Lewisburg Fire Department responded to the scene.
