Padrino’s Italian Restaurant in Beaver to give free food to kids in need during COVID-19 crisis

BEAVER, WV (WOAY) – Another local restaurant is offering free food to kids in need during the COVID-19 crisis.

Padrino’s is giving a free slice of pizza to children just for walking into their store. Tonya Hicks, a waitress at Padrino’s, says that the extra opportunity for food can be a great convenience to some kids during the school closures.

“And parents aren’t always able to get their kids to the school. So we figured it would just be easier, especially for the older kids, to just walk across the street and head home or just sit down and eat it with us,” Hicks said.

Padrino’s is located at 167 North Beaver Lane and is offering free food to kids until further notice.
