BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – Friday, October 11 was the 2024 National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Day of Service.
Chapter Regent Cecilia Chapman said they are grateful to our local law enforcement.
So the Captain James Allen Chapter recognized the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department for their outstanding service to Raleigh County citizens.
“We’ve chosen today to bring some nutritious snacks and sweet snacks for our law enforcement officers because we realize some of their days are tough and long and they may not have time to eat,” Chapman said. “We try to bring things they can grab and go and take with them.”
According to the chapter regent, NSDAR is committed to supporting our law enforcement, veterans, and patriots.
“This is a way we can show appreciation,” Chapman shared. “We just want to say we notice, it matters, and we care.”
