Oceana, WV (WOAY) An Oceana woman has plead guilty to felony drug charges in Wyoming County.
According to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department, 43-year-old Effie Mae Gibson entered a guilty plea for possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and methamphetamine.
The charges are in connection with an October 2025 investigation prompted by Sergeant Logan Cook and the Southern Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
Gibson is scheduled for sentencing in June in Wyoming County Circuit Court.
She faces a 3 to 15-year sentence for possession with intent to deliver fentanyl and 1 to 15 years for possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
