WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): A cold front will continue to foster quick downpours this evening with one final round Thursday morning.
Chad’s latest 7-day forecast:
Lake Stephens Finns Up 5K forecast:
RAIN/THUNDER THREATS: Expect a couple of downpours with clear skies in between the rain this evening. The rain will end and fog will develop overnight. Another round of showers will move through between daybreak and 2 p.m. One or two storms in the Greenbrier Valley could be gusty early Thursday afternoon. The front slides back north again this weekend and early next week, so expect scattered rain and thunder.
All told, the rain will help chip away at the drought and lawns will turn green again.
TEMPERATURES: The occasional rain will help temperatures from warming into the 90s through next week. Chad’s pick of the week is Friday with sunshine and low humidity! My pick for farmers is Thursday, Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday!
