Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – Do you or somebody you know make a mean sweet dessert that could win an award? What about pepperoni rolls?
Well, organizers of the Oak Leaf Festival are hosting a sweet and savory showdown as a fundraiser for the festival.
It will be held on Saturday, August 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the newly renovated Holiday Lodge in Oak Hill.
There will be judges, but they will need other public tasters to cast their vote for the best dessert and best pepperoni roll.
It takes money to throw a party the size of the Oak Leaf Festival! They are looking for more entries for tasting.

There will be a $100 prize for the best dessert and best pepperoni roll, not to mention bragging rights as well.
