Oak Hill man has pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm

Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – An Oak Hill man has pleaded guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Paul Buckner was pulled over in Glade Creek back in October of 2024. According to a press release, an officer found a handgun in Buckner’s possession.

Buckner admitted to knowing he wasn’t allowed to have the gun because of a felony conviction in 2014.

He faces a maximum sentence of 15 years.
