Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – If you’ve driven through downtown Oak Hill lately, you may have noticed city hall dressed up in red, white, and blue.
The patriotic display was designed by administrative assistant Lisa Keffer, who, the city says, enjoys decorating for seasonal occasions and put a lot of personal time into the wreath.
City clerk Valerie Vaughn also played a big part in bringing it together.
Interim city manager Tyler Bragg says the project reflects the dedication of Oak Hill’s city employees.
The decorations are part of Oak Hill’s tribute to America’s 250th birthday.
The city has also lined Main Street and Jones Avenue with more than 100 American flags, according to Bragg, as the team looks to show its patriotism while the country marks the milestone.
