Oak Hill begins hanging banners along Main St. to honor graduating seniors

OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – The Fayette County Board of Education and the City of Oak Hill have teamed up to honor Oak Hill High School’s senior class.

On Monday, city employees began putting up banners of the graduates along Main St. Each banner will feature one senior on each side from the class of 2020.

“We wanted to do something. City council was very receptive to the idea,” Oak Hill City Manager Bill Hannabass said. “City council bought into it, so we have teamed with the Fayette County Board of Education to put up banners of all the graduating seniors in the City of Oak Hill. It’s the least we could do.”
