Fayetteville, WV (WOAY)- The New River Gorge Regional Development Authority (NRGRDA) and Fayette County are asking residents to submit information on any dilapidated buildings they are aware of in the county.
Fayette County established the state’s first land reuse agency last month to identify abandoned and dilapidated buildings and ultimately obtain ownership to repurpose them.
Chairperson of the Land Reuse Agency, Jina Belcher, states her primary goal is to work within Fayette County to determine the best use for abandoned properties to produce quality, taxable assets.
