Craigsville, WV (WOAY)-The Nicholas County Sheriff’s Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Saturday, September 27, from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
The checkpoint will be located on WV Route 20 near Apache Drive in Craigsville, with a secondary location at WV Route 55 near the old Go Mart.
There will also be roving DUI patrols throughout the evening and night.
The purpose of the checkpoint is to deter impaired driving and educate the public about the dangers of driving while under the influence.
