Nicholas County, WV (WOAY) – The Nichoals County Board of Education is looking to fill two seats vacated by board members who resigned recently.
According to a post on the Nichaolas County Schools website, letters of interest and resumes are being accepted from citizens who reside in the Birch and Gauley Districts of Nicholas County.
Residents are asked to apply to newly appointed Nicholas County Schools Superintendent Scott Cochran by 4 p.m. on July 7, 2025.
The board announced appointments will be made by Aug. 4 for terms set to expire on July 30, 2026.
