Nice weather for the Fourth

It is a wonderful day around the area, with sunshine mixed in with a few clouds and pleasant temperatures.
There was some patchy fog this morning, and there’s a possibility for more fog tonight. The fog could be dense in spots again tonight as temperatures and dewpoints will be able to get together. Combine that with some lingering moisture from the showers that we saw over the last few days, and fog is possible.
Tomorrow will be even nicer – a little warmer than it is today, but not too hot. Highs will be in the mid-80s, and there will be plenty of sunshine. As the holiday weekend goes on, temperatures will continue to warm up. They’ll eventually push towards 90 degrees by Sunday, and with the humidity, it will feel rather warm outside. Still, you might consider some basic precautions if you plan to be outside, especially for long stretches of time. Things like plenty of water or something that replenishes the water lost while doing anything outside.
The next chance for showers and storms will be on Monday as another front comes through the region. Rain chances will not be as high as what we saw earlier this week, but will be high enough to make us carry an umbrella or raincoat as we head out. For the moment, severe weather is not expected, but some of the storms could have gusty winds attached. Temperatures will remain at or just above the normal despite the chance for showers and storms.
