Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – The local community has rallied around a local farm impacted by federal cuts.
New Roots Community Farm says that it has received enough donations to be able to pay two team members who had previously served as AmeriCorps members.
The trump administration had cut their positions, but now, local donations will pay their salaries and keep them on board.
They help the farm offer school visits, pop-up markets for seniors, and other programs.
