Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) A fresh farmers’ market is coming to Oak Hill.
The New River Farm Fresh Market kicks off Tuesday, May 19, at the New River Convention Center.
The market will run every Tuesday through August 25 from noon until 7:00 p.m.
Opening day will also feature the WVU Medicine LUCAS bus offering lung cancer screenings for those who qualify.
Organizers are now looking for vendors offering everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to baked goods, handmade crafts, flowers, canned goods, and food trucks.
There is no vendor fee, and booth spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis with both indoor and outdoor options.
The market is hosted by the New River Convention Center and New River Health.
