BEAVER, WV (WOAY) – New River Community and Technical College will be offering a Constitution Day presentation online for free this Thursday.
The presentation will take place at 10:30 a.m, and will be led by instructor of History Stacy Reikowsky. Constitution Day is held every year on September 17th in honor of the Founding Fathers signing the U.S. Constitution on that date in 1787.
‘It’s a great opportunity that we can do something,” said New River CTC Director of Communications Jenni Canterbury. “We always have Constitution Day lectures. We always have presentations and events. This year it’s wonderful that we can open it up to a broader audience, invite those in our community, wherever that community extends to, to be able to participate in the Constitution Day lecture.”
