West Virginia (WOAY)- New River Community and Technical College (New River CTC) is enrolling students now for its next free Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) classes starting at the end of the month.
There will be opportunities to take classes at the Greenbrier and Mercer county campuses.
In Greenbrier County, classes start on October 28 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Classes will be held at the greenbrier valley campus in Lewisburg, with clinicals at the Lewisburg Healthcare Center.
In mercer county, classes will start on October 29 on Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, and on Fridays from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm at the Bluefield campus on Raleigh street.
Students will have clinical training at Princeton healthcare center, and courses end on December 19.
Students will get hands-on training and the skills they need to kickstart their health career.
While the program is free, space is limited, and you will need to register in advance to get your spot.
