Beaver, WV (WOAY) New River Community and Technical College (CTC) wants to ensure our community is educated and healthy.
On Saturday, March 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., community members can take advantage of free health screenings at the New River Community Care Fair.
The Beckley ARH mobile screening unit will be on site, offering free skin cancer screenings, A1C testing, BMI checks, blood pressure screenings, and stroke assessments.
The event will be held at the Erma Byrd Higher Education Center on the Raleigh County campus at 300 University Drive in Beaver.
Organizers say the fair is designed to make preventive care more accessible and encourage residents to stay on top of their health.
