BEAVER, WV (WOAY) – New River Community and Technical College is offering a “rolling start” option for students this fall.
This includes a 10-week session of classes, with 13 different classes for students to choose from. The rolling start will allow students to get started at New River without having to wait until next semester.
“We take our mission very seriously of offering accessible education,” said New River CTC Director of Communications Jenni Canterbury. “Being able to offer other options for students to start classes outside of those traditional start dates in August and January is very important. When we’re looking at people’s schedules and their lives, sometimes those set dates work, but we find that some people need a little bit more flexibility.”
