Summersville, WV (WOAY) New River Community and Technical College is offering a class for anyone looking to improve their grant writing skills.
The workshop, titled Grant Writing: Writing Strategies and Methods for Writing and Submitting Grants, will be held September 22 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Nicholas County Campus in Summersville.
The $30 course will cover strategies for completing grant applications and developing competitive funding proposals.
Participants will also receive a comprehensive notebook with sample grants, cover letters, budget forms, final reports, submission guidance and grant-writing terminology.
The class will be taught by retired English teacher Barbara Crawford, who has extensive experience securing grants from local, state and national organizations.
The course is designed for educators, nonprofit professionals, community leaders and anyone interested in strengthening their grant-writing skills.
