Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – Another Mountaineer Mile is in the books.
Governor Morrisey started the Mountaineer Mile initiative about a year ago and was at Lake Stephens’ State Park on Wednesday morning to christen another trail.
The weather wasn’t perfect for a hike, but a crowd still gathered to mark the occasion.
The leadership of Raleigh County was on hand as well.
