New electronic payment method for child support available

Oak Hill, WV (WOAY) – A new electronic payment method for child support using Smartpay is available.

The previously used electronic payment method, Payconnexion, is no longer accessible.

Parents and employers who prefer to pay by mail can continue with a check or money order.

For mail-in payments, parents must include a payment coupon, and employers will need to send a wage assignment transmittal.

The new system allows child support payers and employers to make a one-time or recurring electronic bank draft with no fees.

Additionally, individuals can make a one-time debit or credit payment at wv.smartchildsupport.com or by calling 1-855-303-0094.
