New details released after double murder-suicide in Mount Hope

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Department has released new information about a double murder-suicide at 366 Legends Highway in the Mount Hope Area last night.

According to Fayette County Sheriff Mike Fridley, deputies responded to a call for a shooting with the suspect still on the scene and threatening to shoot themselves or police.

After gaining entry to the home, deputies found three people dead from gunshot wounds.
