Welch, WV (WOAY) – A murder investigation is underway after troopers find the body of a female in Mcdowell County.
On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, around 11:15 am West Virginia State Troopers from the Welch Detachment were dispatched to a call to investigate a death on Oozley Branch Road in Bradshaw, West Virginia. When troopers arrived, they found the body of Marcella Mullins, a 62-year-old white female from Bradshaw, WV.Â
The West Virginia State Police Crime Scene Team was called in to execute search warrants and process the scene. After the initial investigation, the victim’s husband, 60-year-old Brady Mullins of from Bradshaw, WV was placed under arrest and charged with 2nd Degree Murder.
This is an ongoing investigation being handled by The West Virginia State Police.  Â
