Welch, WV (WOAY) – Charges dismissed against a McDowell County man.
McDowell County Chief Prosecutor Brittany Puckett tells WOAY that murder charges have been dismissed without prejudice against 60-year-old Brady Mullins. That means if new evidence is discovered prosecutors can bring charges again.
On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, The West Virginia State Police were called to Bradshaw, WV for a death investigation. Troopers found the body of 62-year-old Marcella Mullins of Bradshaw, WV.
After calling in The West Virginia State Police Crime Scene Team to execute search warrants and process the scene the victim’s husband Brady Mullins was charged with 2nd Degree murder.Â
Prosecuting Attorney Brittany Puckett says the case remains under investigation. Â
