GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) announces that the Muddy Creek Bridge will be closing, according to Adrian Lusk, District Nine Bridge Engineer.
The closing will begin on CR 25 on Monday, May 11, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. for bridge repair work. The project is located at milepost 4.82 to 4.86, between Blue Sulphur Springs and Alderson. This section of the road will be closed until the job is completed. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the road will re-open before sunset on Monday, June 8, 2020. Detours will be in place, and the detour routes will be CR 66 or CR 31 to WV 12.
WVDOH expresses their apologies for the inconvenience this may cause the citizens and guests to the area. Motorists are asked to observe all traffic control signs and devices and use caution while traveling around the work zone.
The anticipated completion date for this project is June 8, 2020. However, please be advised that inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances may change the project schedule.
