PRINCETON, WV (WOAY) – Community Connections in Princeton has added more blessing boxes around the area.
The blessing boxes are an initiative to set up grab-and-go donation centers, where people can take or leave non-perishable goods. Rhonda Helmondollar at Community Connections says the boxes will help people affected by transportation issues.
“One of our greatest concerns in our area is transportation. And we feel like if we put these blessing boxes in each of our communities, people that may not have transportation to get to some of these other places will be able to utilize the boxes there,” Helmondollar said.
They have added more boxes in Bramwell and have plans to install a total of 13 around Princeton and surrounding cities.
