Montague drive in Greenbrier County expecting traffic delays beginning on December 8 due to bridge deck replacement project

Greenbrier County, WV (WOAY) Drivers in the Montague Drive area should plan for delays starting next week.

Crews will conduct a bridge deck replacement project on County Route 15/5 or Montague Drive from Monday, December 8.

Work will continue through Friday, December 12.

Work will take place daily from 7:30 in the morning until 4:30 in the afternoon from milepost .19 to .20.

While the bridge will remain open during construction, the Department of Highways says drivers should expect delays of more than 15 minutes and are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible. 

The project schedule could change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

The WVDOH also asks motorists to watch for traffic control signs and use caution through the work zone.
