Monroe County Road to close for culvert replacement

Monroe County, WV (WOAY) – A Monroe County Road will soon close for maintenance.

According to a media release from the West Virginia Division of Highways, Pete Amos Road (County Route 219/14) will be closed to all through traffic on Monday, March 17, 2025, for a culvert replacement due to recent flooding.

The DOH asks that the public use additional routes around the work zone. Inclement weather may impact the work schedule.

Drivers are asked to obey all traffic control signs and devices and be careful caution while traveling near the work zone.
