Lindside, WV (WOAY) Monroe County parents, here’s an important date to mark on your calendar.
The Monroe County Kiddie Fair is set to kick off on Thursday, April 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lindside Methodist Church’s Family Life Center.
The fair offers families a chance to get their children enrolled and screened for upcoming school programs.
For Pre-K and Head Start, children who turn four years old before July 1 are eligible.
Kindergarten registration is also available for children turning five before that same date.
There will also be screenings for infants and toddlers from birth to age three, covering developmental, social and emotional, hearing, and vision needs.
Parents can also explore programs like Early Head Start and Parents as Teachers during the event.
