Monroe County, WV (WOAY) – The Monroe County Board of Education has named its newest superintendent.
Doctor Jason B. Conaway took the oath of office yesterday and immediately began work.
He has been a teacher, school psychologist, administrator, and director of special education.
Former superintendent Joetta Basile resigned in may and took over as superintendent of the troubled Mingo county school system.
