MONROE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Given the recent significant increase in COVID-19 cases in Monroe County related to Springfield Center (where many parents and/or guardians are employed), the local health department has recommended that all extracurricular practices/activities be temporarily halted.
Administration agrees with the recommendation and will continue to work closely with the health department to determine when those activities can safely resume, which we all, of course, desire to be in the near future. Our primary concern is the safety of our students, staff and coaches. Updates will be provided as we move forward.
