Mingo County, WV (WOAY) – A Mingo County man is facing charges related to a shooting that occurred over the weekend.
68-year-old Keith Harvey McCoy of Delbarton has been charged with malicious wounding and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
According to a media release from the West Virginia State Police, McCoy allegedly shot 33-year-old Keith Allen Kinser on Sunday, February 15, 2025, on Day Star Road in Delbarton, WV.
According to investigators, McCoy was arraigned and released after posting bond.
The victim is listed as being in stable condition.
