Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – Midland Trail Elementary opens in less than a year, and students enrolling in the new kindergarten next year got to hear about the new school at registration today.
The new school is the result of the merger of Ansted and Divide Elementary schools.
Ansted Elementary principal, Marchelle Bowling, told us today that teachers are working hard to prepare for the upcoming year.
She said that families working on kindergarten registration should have their child’s birth certificate, medical records, and other necessary documents ready and up to date. There is also an option to register online.
Bowling said the new school will be great for students.
