Micah Leith is the current assistant news director at WOAY.
He interned in at WKRG News 5 in Mobile, Alabama before coming to WOAY.
Micah graduated from Waynesburg University with a degree in broadcast journalism. He served as the executive editor of the Yellow Jacket, the school newspaper, and was the news director of the school television station. He also helped lead live sports productions and wrote press releases on behalf of the University.
Hailing from the mountains of Bedford County, Pennsylvania, you can find Micah in the woods or on the lake when he’s not at work. He is an avid reader and country music fan, and his favorite singer-songwriter is Tom T. Hall.
