Giles County, VA (WOAY) – The Virginia State Police is investigating a car accident that resulted in a fatality.
According to a press release, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, 76-year-old Sandra K. Preservanti, of Princeton, West Virginia was driving a 2024 Kia Sorrento westbound on Route 460 in Giles County, VA. The vehicle went off of the side of the road and overturned. She died at the scene.
The passenger in the vehicle,74-year-old Richard C. Preservanti suffered serious injuries. Both occupants were wearing seatbelts.
The accident remains under investigation.
