Princeton, WV (WOAY) – If you are considering a career in law enforcement, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department is looking for entry level deputies.
Applications can be picked up at the Mercer County Courthouse in either the County Clerk’s Office or in the Law Enforcement Section of the Sheriff’s Department.
The physical agility portion of the testing process will be on March 7, 2026, at 9:00 A.M at the Princeton Senior High School Track.
Applicants wishing to participate in the agility test are asked to bring a physician’s release and a photo I.D with them at the time of testing.
Individuals who pass the physical agility portion of the testing will then take a written examination directly at 10:30 am at the Princeton Church of God on Oakvale Road in Princeton.
