UPDATE: Mercer County Schools announces student feeding plans

UPDATE (3/17/2020 11:39 AM) – Mercer County Schools have updated their feeding plans during the school closure.

Students and parents can still pick up meals at each school from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Plans for future distribution are in development.

If your child needs to follow a special diet as part of their healthcare plan, remind school staff when you pick up your meal.

Parents and students have the option to receive educational materials digitally or printed. Digital assignments will be available by Thursday. Printed material will be available for pick-up on Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

MERCER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – On Monday, March 16th and Tuesday, March 17th parents and/or students may pick up lunch @ their child’s school between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The lunch will include breakfast items for the following day.
For parents with children in multiple schools, they may pick up lunches @ any of their children’s school locations.
Students need not be present for the pickup.
Information regarding meals for Wednesday and the days following will be sent out Tuesday evening.
