Mercer County, WV (WOAY) – A trial is underway in Mercer County for a man accused of killing a woman in 2023.
Charles Lee Dawson of Bluefield is on trial for murder in relation to the death of 32-year-old Keri Michelle Billings, 32, also of Bluefield.
According to the sheriff’s department, Billings died from a single gunshot wound.
The First-Degree Murder case is being heard by Circuit Judge Mark Wills.
