Mercer County Clerk’s Office closed after staff member tests positive for COVID-19

MERCER COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The Mercer County Clerk’s Office is closed until further notice after a staff member tested positive for COVID-19.

County Clerk Verlin Moye says all other staff members, 13 of them, are being tested and awaiting results.

Moye says he hopes that they can reopen on Tuesday.  If you need assistance, you can call the clerks office.

They are cleaning the office per the CDC guidelines and are in contact with the Mercer County Health Department.
