Princeton, WV (WOAY)- Mercer County is seeking a new prosecuting attorney, and the County Commission is currently accepting letters of interest to fill the role.
Qualified applicants must have a degree from an accredited law school.
Applicants must also be registered Republicans for a duration of at least one year before January 2026.
Those interested must run for office in the May 2026 primary election. Â
The deadline to submit letters of interest is Tuesday, January 27, at 4:30 pm.
