The center is hiring full-time emergency telecommunicators and is seeking dependable, quick-thinking individuals who can remain calm under pressure to serve as a steady voice during someone’s worst moments.
Officials say the job is for those who want a career with purpose where no two days are ever the same.
Emergency telecommunicators may work holidays, birthdays, and through severe weather events.
Those with emergency telecommunicator experience will receive priority based on certifications and years of experience.
There are only four full-time positions available.
