BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department has filed juvenile petitions against two juveniles relating to the investigation of members of the Greenbrier West wrestling team.
Two juveniles have been charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault, two counts of unlawful restraint, and two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony.
Due to the defendants’ ages, the sheriff’s department is not releasing additional information.
In case you need a recap, these charges are related to an incident at a Beckley hotel late in February.
School staff were not charged in this investigation and were only involved “on the periphery.”
