Athens, WV (WOAY) – Concord men’s basketball welcomed undefeated and second-ranked Fairmont State to Athens Thursday night.
The Falcons began the game with a 14-3 run, but the Mountain Lions rallied to take the lead midway through the first half. Fairmont State would reclaim the lead before halftime, going on to win 99-81.
Concord’s Aaron Miller led all scorers with 25 points.
The Mountain Lions are next in action Sunday against Notre Dame College, in a rematch of last season’s Mountain East Tournament championship game.
