Fayette County, WV (WOAY) – The town of Meadow Bridge is dealing with a major main line breakage that drained its water tank and caused major disruptions to service.
Meadow Bridge High School has been closed all week due to the problem.
Newswatch was told today that the cold caused the line to break. We were told that the city does not know when the repairs will be finished, but outside agencies are coming in to help fix the problem.
In the meantime, residents are advised to turn off their water heaters as the water tank is refilled.
The entire town is also under a boil water advisory once service is restored.
