War, WV (WOAY) The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office is preparing to host its second “You’re Not Alone” outreach event later this month.
The event will take place on July 17 from 1:00 p.m to 4:00 pm near Grant’s Supermarket in the War area.
Organizers say the event is designed to connect individuals struggling with substance abuse, homelessness, mental health challenges, and other hardships with available community resources.
Officials stress the event is judgment-free and focused on providing support and assistance to those in need.
