This weekend, Mercer County Schools said goodbye to Bluefield Middle School Principal Kim Miller, who passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
Principal Miller was more than a leader; she was a mentor, a friend, and a guiding light to the students and staff who loved her dearly.
To honor her memory and stand in solidarity with its neighbors, McDowell County Schools is wearing green today as a community to remember Principal Miller and support the Bluefield Middle School family, showing them they are not alone in their grief.
