Mayor of Montgomery issues mandatory curfew

MONTGOMERY, WV (WOAY) – The Mayor of Montgomery has signed an executive order implementing a curfew.

Mayor Gary Ingram says he has signed an executive order implementing a curfew from 9 pm until 6 am until the City’s State of Emergency has been lifted.  People can travel to and from work, or for emergencies.

Violators are subject to a fine or jail.

The mayor says most of the people are listening and staying at home, but a few are not.
