Point Pleasant, WV (WOAY) – A Mason County man is in jail facing charges related to a house fire.
On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, Tyler Allen Crump, 32, of Pt. Pleasant, was arrested and charged with first-degree arson and three counts of attempted murder, according to a news release from West Virginia State Police.
Troopers say Crump started the fire with people in the home at the time. The occupants were able to exit the residence without injury. The West Virginia State Police and The West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office are handling the investigation.
Tyler Allen Crump is currently being held without bond. No other details were provided.
